I found this necklace with two large
charms in a box of jewelry I bought at an auction. The charms are
marked but I cannot make it out. It is not in English. The oval charm
has what appears to be a temple on it and the other is surrounded in
clear white stones. Both are very pretty as is the chain. See all the

Chest of the Hall of Fame" book--over 120 pages of sketches,
statistics, and narrative on the members of the Baseball Hall of Fame as
of the early 1950's--from Ty Cobb and Cy Young to Babe Ruth and Charlie
Gehringer! This book was originally in the New Castle, Indiana public
library, but it was discarded, then reclaimed by a collector. The 1954
date is handwritten on the first page, along with the library catalog
number. The front and back covers of the book exhibit wear, and the
interior pages are discolored from age. However, the sketches and the
stories of each player will take you back in time to baseball's Golden
Age!
